Browse our directory of approved native English and French tutors. Watch intro videos, read reviews, compare hourly rates and check real-time availability in your own timezone.

Book a trial lesson
Pick a time slot and pay for a trial lesson at the tutor's regular hourly rate. It's a full one-on-one lesson on Google Meet — meet your tutor, talk about your goals and get a feel for how you work together. Every new tutor starts with a trial — it's required before you can buy hours with them.

Buy hours or subscribe
Found your match? Once your trial has taken place, buy a prepaid package of hours with that tutor, or start a subscription that renews every 28 days and automatically tops up your hours. Unused subscription hours roll over while your plan is active.

Learn on a recurring schedule
Set up a weekly slot with your tutor and make progress on autopilot. Join every lesson with one click via Google Meet, reschedule for free up to 12 hours ahead, and confirm lessons when they're done.

Is the trial lesson free?
The trial is a full-length lesson paid at the tutor's normal hourly rate. There are no discounted "taster" sessions — you get the real experience from lesson one.
Can I use my hours with any tutor?
Hours are tied to the tutor you bought them with, at that tutor's rate. If you want to switch tutors, our support team can transfer the value of your remaining hours to a new tutor.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancel at least 12 hours before the lesson and the hour is refunded to your balance automatically. Later than that, the hour is used — your tutor reserved that time for you.
